History of Philanthropy at QUT

[Print-friendly version]

The University relies on the generous support of alumni, philanthropic foundations and trusts, individuals, business and government to continue to deliver the benefits of teaching, research and service to the community.

The role of the Development Office is to promote and facilitate philanthropy for major initiatives, bequests & endowments, scholarships & prizes, research, sponsorship and community projects. In conjunction with the faculties and senior management of QUT, the Development Office identifies important projects that would not happen without philanthropic support.

The Development Office is also responsible for QUT's alumni relations and plays an important role in community outreach.

For more information on the Development Office's current activities, download the latest edition of the Development Review newsletter.
