With the costs of higher education rising each year, the University is committed to developing
partnerships with corporations, government departments, individuals and alumni to provide prizes,
bursaries and scholarships to deserving students.
There are many opportunities for donors to give to encourage and reward students at all levels and across all disciplines of the University. QUT offers a range of scholarships, bursaries and prizes for: Many benefits accrue from sponsoring a student award at QUT. Corporations and government can access a unique and highly talenting pool of students for work experience, project work and employment as well as increase their profile through various marketing activities. Individuals and alumni can make a difference to the lives of students by supporting a scholarship or award in an area of personal interest. Students derive enormous personal and professional advantage. It allows them to focus on their studies and reach their full potential as a student without added financial stress. The selection criteria for scholarships, bursaries and prizes can be developed
to meet the individual requirements of the donor and may be awarded annually or in perpetuity where an endowment is created.
